• Ages: 5–14 years old
• Schedule: The league program runs for 2 months, with a summer league from June 1 – July 29, 2026, and summer camps at San Marcos running June 15–19, 2026 and July 20–24, 2026.
• Price: Summer league price is $250 for returners and $300 for new players, with a one-time $50 fee. Summer Camps at San Marcos cost $260 for general full-day campers and $220 for Sol players for each June 15–19, 2026 and July 20–24, 2026 full-day 9:00 AM–1:00 PM session.

During the summer league, the first day of practice is Monday, June 1, 2026, with regular practices on Mondays for skills training from 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM and Wednesdays for games from 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM. The first 3 weeks of the league focus entirely on teaching basic skills, and the remainder consists of a full hour of games. Kids in the league receive a jersey and a Size 6 28.5 basketball to keep, will be shooting on 8-foot hoops, and the $50 one-time payment covers a uniform, a Size 5 (25.5) basketball to keep, and San Diego Sol membership which gives access to future camp and clinic discounts. Parents are more than welcome to be involved and can help during drills, assist with keeping kids in line and focused, make sure players are not distracting others, and volunteer to coach during 3-on-3 sessions.

Summer camps at San Marcos run from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, with a typical camp day including fundamentals such as dribbling, shooting, passing, and defense from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, followed by games and scrimmages from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM. Camps focus on fundamentals while also teaching teamwork and game play, and are designed to develop and improve youth basketball skills with breakdown of basic offense, defense, and team skills. For camps, campers should bring snacks, plenty of water, and a packed lunch for full-day sessions, and vending machines are available onsite with drinks and snacks, while full-day campers need to bring their own lunch.

For the league, kids should bring athletic shoes, a water bottle, and a positive attitude. San Diego Sol takes pride in providing an excellent coaching staff using coaches from local high schools and colleges who bring a wealth of basketball experience.
