Bay Area Jiu-Jitsu offers classes in self-defense, Jiu-Jitsu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, and Judo. Students are taught Jiu-Jitsu in an environment that uses only Charles Gracie Gis on the mat, with visitor gis available for drop-ins.

Bay Area Jiu-Jitsu is part of The Charles Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy, also referred to as Charles Gracie BJJ and the Charles Gracie/BAFA academy in Hayward, and the Charles Gracie Jiu-Jitsu San Mateo Academy. The program states that “Bay Area Jiu-Jitsu is the best self-defense training for you.” Cristiano is the head black belt instructor and head professor.
