KidSmart Academy offers after school care, enrichment classes, and camps that include activities such as art, Lego Robotics, Mad Science, Spanish, Hindi, Canvas Art, Scratch Coding, chess, abacus, and science. Since 2013, KidSmart has been dedicated to providing after-school care for children and has been honored with a Proclamation by Foster City for over 20 years of community service. KidSmart Academy is a women-owned and operated program with a student-to-teacher ratio of less than 10:1 and provides school pick ups along with a variety of enrichment classes from art to science. The program includes STEAM-based activities such as Lego Robotics, Mad Science, and Canvas Art at camps, and camp field trips such as Jump N Play.
KidSmart Academy is supervised by Shilpa, who is the owner and art teacher. According to a parent testimonial, Shilpa taught and encouraged a student in the 8–10 year old age group to enjoy drawing and introduced sketching techniques like shading and blending, and this parent highly recommends KidSmart Academy.
