KidSmart Academy offers after school care, enrichment classes, and camps that include activities such as art, Lego Robotics, Mad Science, Spanish, Hindi, canvas painting, Scratch coding, cardboard engineering, and a field trip to Jump N Play with inflatables, obstacle courses, and active play zones. Camps include STEAM-based activities such as Cardboard Engineering, Lego Robotics, Mad Science, and Canvas Art, along with other classes like chess, abacus, science, and arts.

KidSmart Academy is a women-owned and operated entity with a student-to-teacher ratio of less than 10:1 and provides school pick ups. KidSmart Academy is supervised by Shilpa, who is the owner and art teacher. Since 2013, KidSmart has been dedicated to providing after-school care for children and has been honored with a Proclamation by Foster City for over 20 years of dedicated community service. The program’s mission is to empower children through high-quality after-school programs that spark curiosity, foster creativity, and promote STEM learning, while supporting their social development and providing peace of mind for parents.
KidSmart Academy has received recognition including six art class students winning the 6th Art Olympiad 2021, an international art contest. The International Child Art Foundation gave special recognition to KidSmart Academy when 6 of 49 winners at the World Children Festival at Washington, DC’s National Mall were mentored at KidSmart, and their artwork was showcased at the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022. Testimonials from parents describe children attending KidSmart Academy’s afterschool program and camps, participating in drawing and sketching techniques such as shading and blending, bringing home art from summer camp, and attending a variety of classes including chess, abacus, science, and arts.
