• Ages: 6–11 years old
Welcome Amigos International School follows the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) standards to offer a quality program for children. It is a state-licensed preschool, Kindergarten, and after-school program with a bilingual mission and a Spanish immersion environment. Camps at the same school provide Spanish immersion with weekly themes while participating in enriching activities. The school has been serving families from San Francisco, South San Francisco, Millbrae, Burlingame, Hillsborough, San Mateo, Belmont, San Carlos, Woodside, Redwood City, Atherton, Menlo Park, and Palo Alto.
One parent shared that in three years at Welcome Amigos, their child built confidence, academic skills, curiosity, and a love for being at school, and that the teachers know each student and family well and create a community that is engaging, inclusive, and celebratory. The same parent described feeling lucky to have had their son there and noted how proud and confident he is with his Spanish.
