Camps, Before & After School, and Youth Programs at Marin YMCA include activities such as group exercise, pickleball, outdoor individual circuits, and use of the basketball court. Children and teens can also take part in group swim lessons, use the indoor pools and pool, and spend time in Y-Kids childcare. The program offers summer camp options, including traditional camps, overnight camps, and specialty camps focused on sports, arts, STEM, and outdoor programs.

For more than 170 years, the YMCA of Greater San Francisco has operated as part of a larger association that was established during the Gold Rush in 1853.
