Marin Waves Track & Field Club offers specialized track training, field event training, sports speed training, and agility training. Training sessions use running shoes, athletic socks, a T-shirt or sweatshirt, and shorts or sweatpants as standard gear. Payment for sessions can be made per session or by package using Venmo (@David-Hay-32), Zelle (415-272-1225), cash, or checks made out to Marin Waves Track Club.

Marin Waves Track & Field Club was founded in 2007 as a USATF/AAU youth-masters track and field club. The club is designed for youth level, high school, open, and masters athletes, with ability levels ranging from beginners to advanced/elite. Its stated mission is to provide specialized training in a variety of track and field events and training for increased agility, power, and speed, with individualized training programs created to suit the goals and interests of each athlete in a team atmosphere. Athletes are taught topics such as proper warm-up and game preparation, correct event mechanics, race strategies, mental preparation, training schedules, and strength development.
Club Founder and Head Coach David Hay holds a B.S. from Ithaca College, an M.A. from San Jose State University, a California Clear Level Teaching Credential, and a USATF Level 2 certification in jumps. Marin Waves Track & Field Club is a USA Track & Field club (#38-0333) in the USA Track & Field Pacific Association and an AAU Track and Field club (W34ATF, District-Pacific). The club lists multiple competitive results, including 1 U20 100m finalist in 2024, 1 California High School Winter Championship champion in the girls 60 meters in 2025, recognition as home of the fastest high school freshman girl in the U.S. in the 100m in 2023*, 6 youth national champion awards, 4 USATF masters national champions, 9 national Junior Olympic runner-up awards, 14 AAU West Coast Nationals champions, 33 Junior Olympic All-American awards, 20 AAU national indoor/outdoor top 8 awards, 1 NCC World Masters Athletics champion, 1 NCC World Masters Athletics runner-up, 17 masters USATF All-American awards, 8 CIF State High School Championship medals, and 3 U20 US Championships qualifiers.
