Osher Marin JCC Youth & Camp

Osher Marin JCC Youth & Camp is part of the Osher Marin Jewish Community Center’s youth and camp offerings. The program connects kids with activities such as Israeli Folk Dance, games like Mexican Train, Rummikub, and Scrabble, and events including the Midweek Musical Matinee: “Classical Guitar thru the Ages,” along with a Jewish Meditation Group.

• Schedule: Hours of operation are 6am–8pm Monday through Thursday, 6am–7pm Friday, and 7am–7pm Saturday and Sunday.

The Osher Marin JCC states that it is “here for you—enriching lives, building community, and sustaining Jewish culture.” Community involvement is emphasized with the statement that community is the heart of the Osher Marin JCC, and that participation makes a difference. The center notes that everyone is welcome and that it is rooted in Jewish values and traditions. It offers preschool education in Mill Valley and San Rafael, and when school is out, camp is in, with ongoing registration for summer campers. The program highlights that it will keep kids happy, active, safe, and learning, and invites families to explore the arts, cultures, and world cuisine. Families are also invited, in person or online, to discover opera, travel the world, learn a new skill, attend a live concert, and more. Jewish culture is described as revealed, explored, and celebrated in The Taube Center for Jewish Peoplehood, and Israel Resources are available to understand the Mideast conflict. Families can schedule a free tour at the JCC and earn a 3-day pass to try out the facilities, walk through the space, ask questions, and see how it fits into their lifestyle.
