Sailing Education Adventures Youth Sailing

Sailing Education Adventures Youth Sailing offers youth sailing classes and sail camps that include on-the-water and classroom instructional programs. The program includes sailing adventures, open sails, and youth sailing events. Participants can also take part in community building programs and volunteer activities connected to sailing, as well as charter the boats Tackful (a Santana 22) and Jeanne (a Cal 20).

Sailing Education Adventures Youth Sailing is part of a community and youth sailing organization that has been sharing sailing with the Bay Area since 1976 and has been delivering sailing education for over forty years. The organization describes its sail camps as award-winning and as the Bay Area’s premier non-profit community-sailing organization. It offers affordable classes and scholarships for young people, along with Adventure Cards and sail cards for Open Sails. Sailing Education Adventures Youth Sailing is run by a membership organization of sailors and parents who share a passion for the water and teaching others how to sail. The organization’s mission states that it believes sailing is a unique experience that builds lifelong character, teaches invaluable skills, and fosters a positive active community, and that it is dedicated to promoting sailing through affordable instruction and related on-the-water activities, high-quality instructional programs, leadership development and skill building opportunities, and a strong and supportive community. The organization also takes part in joint efforts with other community serving organizations to further common interests.
