Norma's Kiddie Preschool offers activities such as cooking, gardening, arts and crafts, age-appropriate science experiments, and creative free-play. Children take part in field trips to local parks and around the neighborhood, as well as visits to the library, the Oakland Zoo, and a train museum. The program also includes dress-up, kitchen and shopping play, puzzles, science activities, blocks, Legos, and sensory play with a water table and sand box in the backyard.

Norma's Kiddie Preschool is a licensed home daycare and preschool described as a large family daycare licensed for up to 14 children, with at least 2 staff members at all times. The setting includes a large selection of toys, dress-up clothes, dolls, cars, kitchen and shopping play items, puzzles, science materials, blocks, and Legos, along with a backyard space for active playtime, gardening, and sensory play with a water table and sand box.
