Ace Tae Kwon Do Academy USA offers Taekwondo and martial arts classes that include an introduction to the art of Taekwondo with basic movements and simple kicks. As students progress, classes cover more advanced techniques for each belt, such as knife hand techniques, strikes, and various blocks, as well as intermediate and advanced training geared towards teenagers and adults. The program also offers special training for advanced students and new students, including White belt basic techniques, simple kicks, and an introduction trial lesson to the art of Taekwondo.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Class options are available Monday through Friday in the late afternoon and evening, and on Saturday mornings, with most weekly classes running 50 minutes and a Friday teen/adult intermediate/advanced class running 75 minutes.
• Price: Special Trial Lesson is $50 for up to three classes per week for two weeks (total six lessons), with a $10 discount using code "ATA 22" before signing up (some restrictions applied).
Grand Master Michael Jung is the Chief Instructor and holds a 7th degree black belt in Taekwondo through Kukkiwon (World Taekwondo Headquarters). He has completed the Kukkiwon International Master Course and the Kukkiwon International Examiner Course and has been teaching Taekwondo for over 35 years to children, teens, and adults. The academy states its mission as providing learning and teaching environments that promote the growth of each individual to become a better person while practicing Taekwondo together. Ace Tae Kwon Do Academy USA is described as a traditional Taekwondo school serving the Santa Ana, Orange, Irvine, and Tustin area, with a spacious studio that provides space for over 20 students to practice, and all students and instructors wear masks and maintain social distancing while practicing.
