Camp Mariposas is a summer camp program geared for young and school-aged children with speech and/or occupational therapy needs. The camp includes fun activities that enhance and facilitate communication and sensory development. With licensed therapists, each camp day includes speech, language, social skill building, and sensory and movement activities.
• Ages: 3–12 years old
• Price: Special affordable rates for private pay and private insured families for individual and small group therapy.
Camp Mariposas is part of Mariposas Project, which is dedicated to providing high-quality therapy services for infants and toddlers. The Music & Language group connected to this work has been providing a space for families for nearly 20 years. MP Health now offers in-clinic bilingual speech therapy sessions and Summer Speech & Language Intensives through its Santa Barbara and Lompoc locations. MP Health has been awarded a grant from Cencal and provides free comprehensive developmental assessments by a bilingual team to Cencal members, and it accepts Cencal and private pay for certain programs.
