The Dance Hub Youth Ballet includes ballet, jazz, conditioning for dancers, performance, dance conditioning, and a ballet variation class. Ballet Headstart meets August 21–23 with sessions on Friday from 6:00–8:15pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00–2:15pm. Beginning Ballet with Meghan Morelli meets from June through August on Thursdays from 10:45am to 12:00pm in the Big Studio, and Jazz at The Dance Hub with Carin Tahouri meets on Tuesdays from 6:30–7:45pm in the Big Studio starting March 3.

Carin Noland Tahouri is a former professional dancer and a movement artist and educator whose work blends strong technical foundations with expressive, music-driven movement. The Dance Hub’s facilities include a Victoria Studio measuring 33′ by 30′ with a state-of-the-art floating floor suitable for bare feet, socks, sneakers, ballroom, flamenco (no nails!), and tap, and a Big Studio measuring 36′ by 40′ with a state-of-the-art floating floor and an easy-to-use professional sound system. The Dance Hub is available for rental for classes, workshops, and rehearsals, and gift cards are monetary values that can be used for any American Dance & Music (AD&M) purchase. Development of The Dance Hub is partially funded by the Organizational Development Grants Program using funds provided by the City of Santa Barbara as administered by the Santa Barbara County Office of Arts and Culture, and its state-of-the-art floating floor was funded by a Capital Improvement Grant from the Santa Barbara Foundation and by individual donors. TDH is a non-profit.
