Santa Clara Lions Youth Football & Cheer offers tackle football and cheer for kids. The program includes both football players and cheerleaders under the same club structure.
• Ages: 5–14 years old
The Santa Clara Lions Football and Cheer Club was founded in 1960. The program’s mission is to build a program for the kids with the premise of maintaining a family oriented athletic program in the best interest of all the kids who participate. The Lions Football Program has strived through the years to provide the opportunity for the community’s youngsters to play tackle football and learn the skills required to compete in the game.
During its 60-year history, the Santa Clara Lions Football and Cheer Club has become a “LEGEND“ in youth football and has earned the admiration and respect of youth organizations throughout the country. Many organizations have tried to equal the players’ and cheerleaders’ achievements, both in athletics and scholastics, but none have come close. The leadership team includes Linda Connelly.
