About

Empire Dance Center Summer Programs include summer camps, kids club/parent’s night out events, master classes, workshops, dance intensives, weekly dance classes, and Zumba classes. Children take part in dance classes, music, dancing, games, and crafts, and some offerings are described as a two and a half hour, fun-filled program. The programs also connect with the studio’s dance company for additional training, performing, and competing opportunities.

Empire Dance Center Summer Programs are supported by a diverse and professional faculty with over 20 years of experience in the Santa Clarita Valley. The mission of Empire Dance Center is to enrich the lives of children and their families by providing programs that educate, inspire and reflect a commitment to helping each student reach their potential. The studio offers programs for all ages and abilities, from tiny tots and beginners to teens and pre-professional level students, and also offers a class for 18 month olds. Families can schedule a free trial class, and guest teachers visit to offer extra training opportunities. Students have chances to perform in two annual shows, the Winter Festival and the Year-end Recital, and the studio was rebranded as Empire Dance Center as of July 2024 under the ownership of long-time dedicated employees.

Parents describe the studio as clean and welcoming and mention that the staff and instructors are knowledgeable, thoughtful, and caring. Several testimonials note that children look forward to class, enjoy the mommy and me and tiny tot options, and have participated in recitals that families found to be a wonderful experience. One family notes that they have been with the studio, formerly known as Shooting Stars, since 2018 and have been happy with their experience. Another parent mentions renting the studio for evening Zumba classes and highlights the dance floor, sound system, air conditioning, and colorful LED lights. The program states that it strives to create a genuine and caring dance family that supports students and the local community by providing training and experiences in a supportive and inclusive environment.
