Learn Beyond The Book offers hands-on, interactive homeschool and hybrid school classes in both core and enrichment topics. The program also offers tutoring, music lessons, social activities, field trips, and small-group, interactive, project-based classes. It provides in-person classes as well as live online Zoom courses, with classes available to students in local cities and also nationally and internationally.

Learn Beyond The Book is a homeschool and hybrid school resource and enrichment center, and also serves as a learning and resource center for homeschool and hybrid school students and their parents. Its mission is to cultivate a natural love of learning, with kind and respectful teachers who are deeply committed to each student’s development. All classes have a maximum of 12 students for individualized attention, and the program serves ages 4 through high school, with some Parent & Me classes for children younger than 4 and occasional classes for adults. The program focuses on creating a welcoming and intentionally inclusive environment, does not engage in political, religious, divisive, or controversial topics outside of specific classes, and focuses on exploration and learning rather than test scores. It emphasizes character development and community, supports social and emotional well-being in addition to academics, and uses a student-guided curriculum with discussions about students’ interests. Learn Beyond The Book strives to support neurodiverse students within its resources and staff capabilities and may recommend one-on-one tutoring for some students. It also provides social activities and field trips in a nurturing, fun environment, and the homeschool community present at each of its physical locations in the Santa Clarita and San Fernando Valleys is described as what keeps everyone wanting to come back.
