New World Dance Academy offers dance training and choreography in styles such as ballet, hip hop, tap, modern, contemporary, jazz, and tumbling/acro. The program also includes competition teams, theatre, performing arts, theatre arts, and multimedia activities like videography and photography, along with adult ballet, adult jazz, adult hip hop, and heels classes.

New World Dance Academy has been serving the Santa Clarita Valley and the Los Angeles area for 25 years. The academy was originally established by Terry Bixler, choreographer to Janet Jackson. The leadership team includes Owner/Administrator Marsha Piol; Studio Director Brandy Thilesen; Hip Hop Director Terry Bixler; Assistant Directors Brandy Vielmas and Savannah Aligo; and in-house media and videography by New World Productions. The mission of New World Dance Academy is to create multi-talented artists in a positive environment with a focus on healthy motor, cognitive, and social development; to increase self-confidence, self-motivation, and self-discipline, promote creative independence, and provide leadership opportunities; and to be a second home and happy place. The program offers youth competition teams in contemporary, jazz, hip hop, tap, and more, and its youth teams have been Las Vegas National Grand Champions 16 years in a row in contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and more. New World Dance Academy is a 12-time Las Vegas National Dance Champion and a 16-time Las Vegas National Grand Dance Champion, and it has been rated the #1 Best Dance Studio in Santa Clarita for 2021, 2022, 2024, and 2025. The academy’s adult hip hop group earned a bronze medal at USA Hip Hop International 2021. New World Dance Academy is a proud member of the Santa Clarita Chamber of Commerce.
