The Santa Clarita Grizzlies are a non-profit organization and longstanding members of the Gold Coast Youth Football League (GCYFL). The mission of Santa Clarita Grizzlies Football and Cheer is to develop student-athletes who demonstrate leadership, confidence, discipline, and teamwork in all areas of life. All of the football coaches are "HEADS UP" certified by USA Football. The organization notes that safety is a top priority and that all football coaches are "HEADS UP" certified by USA Football. The program has earned several titles, including 2019 Super Bowl Champs, 2024 Bantam Gold National Conference Champions, 2025 Mighty Mite National Conference Champions, and 2025 Sophomore American Conference Champions.
Snow Orthodontics provides FREE GRIZZLY mouthpieces for participants. The leadership team includes April Rios (President), Henry Rios (Vice President), Gloria Capra (Secretary), Stephanie Leslie (Treasurer), Jorge Gavina and Chris Martinez (AD of Coaches), Ashley Martinez (Social Media Director), and Chris Martinez (Equipment Manager). The organization describes itself as the premier youth football and cheer organization serving Santa Clarita and surrounding areas. The program operates a website that is powered by SportsEngine's Sports Relationship Management (SRM) software.
