About
YMCA Day Camps offer a full-day camp experience with regular camp hours and optional extended care. The program takes place at the Santa Maria YMCA Camp, which is part of the Santa Maria Valley YMCA facility.
• Ages: 5–13 years old
• Schedule: Camp hours 8:00am–5:00pm, with extended care available 7:00am–6:00pm
• Price: Registration fee $40 per child; member rate $220 per child per week; non-member rate $240 per child per week; extended care $40 per child per week
The Santa Maria Valley YMCA has been listening and responding to the community’s most critical social needs since 1964. Its mission is to strengthen the community by improving the quality of life and inspiring individuals and families to develop their fullest potential through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Thanks to a partnership with the Santa Maria Bonita School District (SMBSD), all SMBSD students may attend YMCA Spring, Summer, and Winter day camps at no cost to families, with a valid SMBSD student ID number required at registration. Scholarships are available to make YMCA camps accessible regardless of financial barriers, and the Santa Maria Valley YMCA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit social services organization dedicated to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Santa Maria Valley YMCA describes itself as a community-centered nonprofit with local presence and national reach that welcomes and values individuals of all ages, races, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, gender expression, abilities, sexual orientation, or financial circumstances. The YMCA operates in accordance with California law, which gives people the right to access the locker rooms, changing rooms, and bathrooms that align with their gender identity.
