Digital Dragon is a Los Angeles based technology education provider that develops and executes its own original curriculum, which is designed for kids ages 5–17 with no experience required. The program is described as the longest running year-round tech studio for classes and camps, and it offers one student per computer, small student-to-teacher ratios, and personalized learning experiences. Digital Dragon also brings tech curriculum, electives, after school programs, and camps to school campuses, and offers at-home and online birthday parties in a tech topic of the family’s choice.

Instructors at Digital Dragon have real world tech experience, and staff are trained in First Aid and CPR, with secure servers and software. The organization states that safety comes first and notes that staff members use “DRAGON” names. Digital Dragon teaches year-round in dozens of Los Angeles area schools and partners with many public and independent schools in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, Culver City, and beyond, including independent, private, public, and charter schools throughout Southern California.

Digital Dragon reports that it is celebrating 11 years in business, opened its doors for spring camp in 2014, and is kicking off its 12th year in business. The program states that it started developing Digital Dragon 11 years ago with a mission to bring tech education to students in Santa Monica and the surrounding areas, and notes that it has been proudly featured.

Parent feedback shared by Digital Dragon includes comments that a child continued working on a project an hour after class ended, that a camper who liked math and technology realized they liked building and programming electronics, and that a child described a private Minecraft session as the “Best day ever!”
