Santa Monica Surf School Surf Camps

Santa Monica Surf School Surf Camps offer kids surf camps where young children and teens learn the basics of water safety and surfing skills. The program also offers private surf lessons, group surf lessons, child surf lessons, and adult surf lessons, as well as surf classes for corporate events and team-building activities. During child surf lessons and adult surf lessons, coaches focus on surfing skills and time in the ocean using provided surfboards and wetsuits.

Santa Monica Surf School Surf Camps are part of Santa Monica Surf School, which is described as a fun, safe, and educational surfing experience on the beach for all ages. The school is a passion project of Nick Ostrogovich, a Santa Monica native and passionate surfer. His mission is to introduce the experience and history of surfing in Santa Monica to new and experienced surfers while providing a solid foundation for students to feel comfortable in the ocean. The surf coaches are International Surfing Association (ISA) and CPR certified, and the school leans on over 45 years of combined surf experience. Santa Monica Surf School has been featured in the LA Times, Surfer Magazine, and Time Out Magazine, and is the only surf school in Los Angeles certified by the International Surfing Association. For each lesson, the program provides the surfboard and wetsuit, and participants are asked to bring a bathing suit and towel.
