Mt. Olive Preschool

Mt. Olive Preschool offers a Preschool Program that includes literacy, math, social, and school-readiness skills. It also offers swimming lessons during the summer class sessions for 4-year-olds and field trips for 4-year-olds that are chaperoned by parents. Optional activities include gymnastics, Euro Soccer USA, Church Time, and Guest Speakers.

• Preschool Program — Ages 2 to 5 years old; must be at least 2 years of age at the beginning of the school year in August · Year-round; meets August to July; full or half day; 2, 3, or 5 days a week; full days 7:30am to 5:30pm; half days 7:30am to 12:30pm · $763–$2,015 per month · Includes literacy, math, social and school-readiness skills; optional schedule choices include 2, 3, or 5 days a week.
• Toddler & Me — Ages 16 to 24 months old; toddler must be at least 16 months old and walking · One day a week on Tuesdays from 9:30 to 11:00am; 8 weeks; four 8-week sessions offered throughout the school year

Mt. Olive Preschool has been open since 1972. Its mission is fostering positive growth and a love for learning, and the program says it is designed to nurture children to become self-assured, empathetic, and creative thinkers through fun and guided play.

Open year-round. Half day program ends at 12:30pm. Full day pick up is from 3:00 to 5:30pm. Children may come as early as 7:30am, however the school would like all children at school by 9:00am. Follows the holiday schedule of the Santa Monica school district calendar. 10% discount for siblings and members of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church.
