Novel Education Group was founded in 2014 by Tiffany Sorya, who is the Founder and CEO and is described as a renowned influencer and thought leader in the education industry. The program offers in-person or online educators and traveling or on-call teachers to support private learning and has a network of over 200 educators across several countries. Students may enroll in full-time homeschool programs, learn remotely with their current school or private school, and complete one-on-one enrichment programs with academic advisors, and virtual and in-person options are available for all ages with rolling enrollment so families can choose when school starts, how many days they study, and where learning takes place.

Nicole has over 20 years of in-person teaching experience in mental health facilities, public, private, and charter schools, holds a B.A. in Psychology, an M.A. in Child Development, a teaching certificate in Elementary Education, and a Director certificate of Early Childhood Education. Fouad earned a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and has been teaching students from elementary to high school for more than five years. Anne has a Master of Arts in Special Education from Teachers College, Columbia University and has been teaching and tutoring for 5 years, specializing in lower elementary from kindergarten to third grade. Andrew is a homeschool teacher in Los Angeles, holds a substitute teaching permit, has been teaching for 7 years (including 5 years at Novel Education Group), and earned a perfect score on the Math SATs while in high school.
The private tutoring program focuses on meeting the needs of students, building confidence, delivering results, and inspiring them to love learning, and test preparation sessions are personalized and tailored to the student’s needs to maximize comprehension and time. Remote classes allow students to stay enrolled in their current school while using their school’s curriculum but learning with a Novel educator. Special education services provide support for learning disabilities including dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, and Twice Exceptional (2E). Specialized enrichment programs are tailored to a specific discipline and student goals and focus on fundamental academic skills like reading, writing, and math.
