Santa Monica Baseball Academy

Santa Monica Baseball Academy offers youth baseball camps and programs that include fielding, hitting, pitching, throwing, catching, base running, and the use of hitting machines and batting cages. The program runs Spring Break Camps, Summer Camps, Youth Baseball Camps, an Elite Camp, Hitting Camps, an after school program, advance hitting and pitching instruction, a Spring Break Hitting Camp, and Sunday Skills Sessions. Players take part in one-on-one instruction, speed and agility work, and strength building techniques.

• Ages: 6–14 years old
• Schedule: Youth Baseball Camps typically run 9am–3pm, Elite Camp and SMBA Hitting Camps run 9am–12pm, Spring Break Camps and Elite Spring Break Camps run in two one-week sessions from March 30–April 3 and April 6–10, SMBA Hit Factory Spring Break Hitting Camps run as four-day camps from March 30–April 2 and April 6–9 from 9am–12pm, and Sunday Skills Sessions are 1.5 hours per session on Sundays for ages 8–10 from 9am–10:30am and ages 11–14 from 10:30am–12pm

Instructions are given by professional baseball coaches, and each coach is vetted, background checked, and trained with Santa Monica Baseball Academy through the city of Santa Monica. The program’s mission statement is “We Put Elite in your Head Not on Your Chest!” Santa Monica Baseball Academy joins the CREST program to offer baseball instruction. Elite camp players receive an SMBA lightweight string backpack with an SMBA team pin, sports bracelet, batting grip tape, and an SMBA tee-shirt. Subway lunch is available for order with free delivery on camp days, including discounted lunch options, and Handel's ice cream is offered each Friday. Players are asked to wear baseball attire daily, including hats and cleats, and to bring sunscreen, water for hydration, a snack, and lunch.
