TSM Aquatics

TSM Aquatics offers Splashball, Youth Water Polo, Swim Lessons, and Swim Team. Splashball introduces children to water polo in a recreational format. Youth Water Polo is for pre-high school athletes to build a better understanding of water polo fundamentals, and Swim Lessons are semi-private and require swimmers to be water safe.

• Youth Water Polo — Pre-High School Athletes · Tuesdays 5-7 PM; Thursdays 5:30-7:30 PM; Saturdays 10 AM-12 PM · $220 per month · For athletes with varying experience to develop a better understanding of water polo fundamentals.
• Swim Lessons — All ages · Monday-Friday 3:30 PM-7:00 PM; Saturday 9:00 AM-11:00 AM · $195 per month · Semi-private swim lessons; swimmers must be water safe.

About the provider

TSM Aquatics was established in 1955 and is a parent-owned, coach-led 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It is based in Santa Monica and serves nearby neighborhoods including Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Venice, Culver City, and the Westside of Los Angeles. The listed leadership team includes Matt Flanders, Mohammad Khadebashi, Iman Khadebashi, Chris Kang, Dan Heraly, Stefanie Capizzi, Caley Mason, Brian Timmerman, A'Ilana Martinez, Shanna Stevenson, Matt Cianfrone, and Ben Zovickian. The program lists USA Swimming certified coaches and notes league championships in swim and water polo, CIF championships in girls and boys water polo, CIF coach of the year honors, All American honors, and 3 national championships.

Splashball requires 3 practices per week, 2 hours duration, and a swim of 100 yards in less than 2 minutes. Swim lessons require swimmers to be water safe and instructors are out of the water. Registration is monthly until cancellation. Make-up lessons must be used within the same month. Cancellations should be submitted by or before 5 PM on the last day of the month for the next month.
