About

Forget Me Not Farm Children's Services offers animal-assisted therapeutic activities, horticultural therapeutic activities, and a vocational training and mentoring program for at-risk youth. The program takes place at a therapeutic farm that is described as a haven for children, plants, and animals to bond, learn, and heal with one another. The farm also offers private tours by appointment.

• Ages: 14–18 years old
• Schedule: Monthly volunteer orientation on Tuesday, July 7, from 2:00–3:30 p.m.

Since its inception in 1992, Forget Me Not Farm Children's Services has worked with thousands of at-risk children and youth. The mission is described as a therapeutic haven for traumatized children and animals, and as a haven for children and animals to bond and break the cycle of abuse. The population of children served mandates that the farm be kept a safe and secure environment while they are there. The farm notes volunteers supporting its community of youth, animals, and gardens, and mentions partner and supporting groups such as Safe Haven Llama and Alpaca Sanctuary in the Bitterroot Valley of Western Montana, Oscar's Donkey rescue, and a local rescue group that provided veterinary care for an animal named Luna. Forget Me Not Farm Children's Services received the “Best of the North Bay 2026 – Best Farm” recognition, and the farm states “WE WON BEST FARM!!”
