About

Little Angels Children's Center offers activities that include grace and courtesy in the classroom, social skills, lessons in music, literature, arts and crafts, science, physical education, dramatic play, kindergarten readiness, outdoor exploration, and physical motor skills. Teachers use a theme-based curriculum to plan a variety of these activities, and a weekly and/or monthly lesson plan is posted in each classroom for parents. A daily schedule is in place, and staff may adjust events for teachable moments or adapt activities and lesson plans to meet the needs of all children in the class.

Little Angels Children's Center was established in 1983. The program provides care for children ages 2 to 6 years old, and diapers are accepted, with assistance in potty training available if needed. Children are placed in classrooms based on age, and the program focuses on five developmental areas: physical, emotional, cognitive, social, and creative. The mission states that the goal is to provide the community with a quality preschool and childcare program in a safe, loving, and nurturing environment supported by a structured educational program, with an inclusive environment for all children and their families and a safe place to celebrate differences. Enrollment is open to children ages 2 to 6 who have received all immunizations required by the State of California for entrance into an early childhood program, with a physician-verified immunization card and signed Physician’s Report required before beginning. At least one pre-enrollment interview is conducted with the Director, child, and parents or guardians. The preschool has a Non-Discrimination Policy admitting students of any race, color, religion, sex, disability, national and ethnic origin and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, national and ethnic origin. Parents have the right to visit the Center at any time to observe all activities of the program. The preschool reserves the right to terminate childcare services under specified conditions, including aggressive behavior causing harm, excessive teacher time needed, a delinquent tuition account, failure to honor obligations, or a child’s special needs being beyond the scope of care. The State Licensing Agency has the right to interview a child and school staff, inspect and audit records, observe the physical condition of a child, and have a licensed medical professional examine a child if deemed necessary. The program operates under license number LIC #493007243.
