Atlético Santa Rosa Soccer Club Academy

Atlético Santa Rosa Soccer Club Academy offers open training for Boys & Girls Academy players and organizes upcoming games, upcoming matches, and tournaments. Players in the academy take part in leagues and events such as MLS Next League, MLS Next Flex, National Premier League, Norcal YPL, and State Cup.

Coach Tote Castañeda serves as Technical Director and Head of Methodology and is described as a distinguished professional with an impressive track record in leading top soccer clubs in Mexico and the United States. The leadership team also includes Coach Miguel Galvan, who coaches the ASR Bayern and ASR Dortmund teams. The academy’s teams have earned several titles, including NorCal State Cup Champions 2024 for the Red Stars 2014-2015 Girls Team, Atlético 2013 Pre-MLS NEXT as NorCal Premier Soccer State Cup 2025 Champions, Fuego (2016) winning the RAGE Summer Cup, and champions at the SJ Rush Summer Tournament 2025. Atlético Santa Rosa participates in the MLS Next Academy Division, MLS Next Flex, National Premier League, Norcal Youth Premier League, and State Cup, and is scheduled to participate in the 2025 MLS NEXT Fest in Mesa, Arizona. ASR Bayern and ASR Dortmund, led by Coach Miguel Galvan, celebrated championship titles in the 2015 NorCal Premier League. The program notes a quote from Pelé: “Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love of what you are doing.” Atlético Santa Rosa also takes part in community events and efforts such as backpack donation, Blast Off 2 School – Giving Back to Our Community, Atlético Santa Rosa: Giving Back to Our Community Through Soccer, and celebrating with the community at Día del Niño 2025.
