NorCal Fighting Alliance Kids

NorCal Fighting Alliance Kids offers Brazilian jiu jitsu, Muay Thai kickboxing, boxing, and wrestling for children through its NCFA jiu jitsu KIDS, NCFA Kickboxing kids, and NCFA Wrestling kids programs. The program runs multiple kids’ classes across the week as part of a stacked schedule of mixed martial arts and specialized programs for families and MMA enthusiasts.

• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Class options Monday–Friday in the late afternoon and evening, with additional morning and Saturday options

For over 15 years, NorCal Fighting Alliance, led by owner and jiu jitsu instructor David Terrell, has focused on teaching mixed martial arts in a way that is welcoming, safe, and easy for new students, including those with no previous experience. David Terrell is a Cesar Gracie black belt, the first UFC fighter to open a martial arts gym in Northern California, and has worked with over six martial artists who reached the UFC level. The gym is recognized as the first all no-gi jiu jitsu academy in North America and is partnered with Cesar Gracie Fighter schools in Northern California, including Gracie Fighter Lodi, Gracie Fighter Pleasanton, Gracie Fighter San Francisco, and Gilbert Melendez's The Scrap Pack. The program offers a first class free option and uses teaching methods, unique programs, and introductory classes that allow new students to experience mixed martial arts without feeling intimidated or overwhelmed, within what it describes as a growing martial arts family with a high level of teaching.
