Sausalito Yacht Club Youth Sailing

Sausalito Yacht Club Youth Sailing offers youth sailing with Spring, Fall, and Summer programs for all skill levels. Participants take part in yacht racing and sail training, and they also have access to cruise ins, cruise outs, and kayak/SUP use. The program takes place within a broader club environment that includes diverse on-the-water programs and fun events, along with stunning views and a hub of activity, friendship, fabulous food, and a lively bar.

The Sausalito Yacht Club was conceived and established on New Year’s Eve of 1942. The club’s mission is to actively promote the sport of boating, provide sail training, develop and sponsor yacht racing events, educate members about marine-oriented skills, be actively involved in the community, and provide and manage a convivial bar and galley operation for the benefit of the membership. Leadership roles at the club include a Membership Chair, Junior Sailing Directors, Flag Officers and Chairs, an Executive Board, and a General Manager. The club states that membership always has been and will continue to be inclusive and diverse, and that all boating enthusiasts are welcomed, with all applicants considered for membership without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, or age.
