School Garden Network Summer Garden Camp includes activities such as camp songs and games, gardening, food preparation, and nature exploration. Campers take part in nature journaling, scavenger hunts, puzzle mind maps, and solar energy cooking. The program also offers sun printing and natural tie dye, cob bench building, bird feeder construction, water color painting, flower crown crafting, and herbal medicine making.
The mission of School Garden Network is to grow healthy students, families, schools, and communities through garden-based education. The organization serves a network of over 160 schools with 52,000 students through immersive garden spaces supported by community partnerships with local businesses, practitioners, and volunteers.
