Founded in 2004, Camp Wamp's mission is to provide life-changing experiences to children with physical disabilities. The Reese Family Foundation facilitated the purchase of the camp location. The documentary "Wampler’s Ascent," associated with the camp, has received 35 laurel leaves and 20 film festival awards nationally and internationally. Campers have described their time at Camp Wamp as the "Best Week Ever."
