Art Escape offers Summer Camps, enriching classes for children, teens, and adults, and art workshops tailored to special events. The program includes group glassblowing workshops, private glassblowing lessons, and on-premise glassblowing and torch-work classes and team-building workshops for teens and adults. Art Escape also offers free family-art workshops and events, private workshops for birthday parties and corporate gatherings, private events for kids and adults, and solo shows in the gallery, along with core tuition-free programs such as Teen Maker Studio, Free Friday, Flying Colors, Mini Makers, and Relatos y Tesoros, plus off-site events and art kits through the mobile art studio “Art Van Gogh.”

Art Escape was founded in 2012. Since its founding, over 20,000 youth, teens, and adults have participated in its visual art programs, and since 2012 over 18,000 students have attended its visual art exploration programs. Over 75% of participants return to engage in more programs and events, and many students return as instructors and mentors.
Art Escape describes its mission as providing a creative sanctuary where people of all ages can gather to discover, explore, and develop their creative potential through affordable hands-on visual arts programs, workshops, and events. The organization states that it cultivates greater understanding and appreciation of Sonoma Valley’s rich diversity and creative spirit, fosters important life skills, and focuses on the diversity and creativity of Sonoma Valley. Art Escape reports that it remains committed to programs that nurture talents and encourage confidence, individuality, civic spirit, and community, and that through donor and community support it continues to open new worlds of creativity, possibility, and hope.
As part of the greater Sonoma Valley art community, Art Escape partners with local schools and art non-profits through collaborative projects, workshops, and exhibitions. The mobile art studio “Art Van Gogh” is used as an on-location art education studio to bring art activities to all areas of Sonoma Valley and to deliver mobile art fun to school, corporate, or private events. Art Escape is a 501c(3) non-profit organization and is always looking for qualified art instructors, and for private events it supplies materials and a qualified instructor for groups up to 10 people.
