Rhoten Productions Summer Camps

Rhoten Productions Summer Camps offers Nature Camp activities that include adventures on a ropes course, creek hiking, rock climbing, creek exploring, making art, and playing games. It also offers a camp with climbing giant ladders, leaping from high platforms, zip lining, group hikes in the redwoods, playing field games, and art projects. A Counselor In Training (CIT) Program is available for ages 13-15.

• Nature Camp at Carriger Creek Challenge Course (C4) — 5-12; kids ages 5 and up · One-week sessions; 9am-4pm · $475 per session · Includes adventures on the ropes course, creek hiking, rock climbing, creek exploring, making art, and playing games.
• Nature Camp at Challenge Sonoma Adventure Ropes Course — 10 and up · One-week sessions; 9am-2pm daily · Includes climbing giant ladders, leaping from high platforms, zip lining, group hikes in the redwoods, playing field games, and working on art projects.
• Counselor In Training (CIT) Program — 13-15 · All C4 sessions

About the provider

The program is led by Diana Rhoten. Its history is over 30 years, with the first session of Nature Camp beginning at Westerbeke Ranch in 1987, and Performing Arts Camp is over 25 years old. The stated philosophy is to let children experience being outside and away from tech for the entire day, with exploration of new opportunities, challenge by choice, and a non-competitive environment.

Registration fee refund policy: refunded only in case of accident or illness prior to the start of camp. If cancelled more than 3 weeks before the starting day of camp, refunded minus a $50 processing fee. If cancelled less than 3 weeks before the starting date, no refund is given. CIT programs are at all C4 sessions and have limited slots. Nature Camp at C4 sessions are ages 5 and up; Challenge Sonoma camp is for campers 10 and up.
