About
SwimAmerica Sonoma offers several types of swim instruction, including Youngster Swim for kids getting in the water for the first time, Swim School that follows the SwimAmerica curriculum through stations 1–6, and Stroke School that covers SwimAmerica stations 7–10. The program also offers Adaptive Swim that is specifically curated and individually designed for swimmers with physical or mental disabilities, and Adult Swim for adults with water trauma or who have little swimming experience. SwimAmerica Sonoma teaches proper swimming techniques in a safe, fun and energetic atmosphere using a series of stations focused on skill development and stroke progression, where each student progresses at their own rate as Site Supervisors conduct ongoing evaluations and advance swimmers as soon as they are ready for the next station.
