Sonoma Valley United

Sonoma Valley United is a youth soccer organization that offers youth recreational soccer, competitive soccer, Tiny Cleats for children ages 3–4, winter Futsal, adult programs, and summer camps. The program operates both recreational and competitive leagues and serves over 1,000 local players seasonally. Programs are offered at various levels for novice to advanced players and for both younger and older participants who are interested in soccer.

The original mission of Sonoma Valley United has remained the same since its founding in 1977. Sonoma Valley United provides opportunities for youths up to and including 19 years of age to play soccer in the Sonoma Valley area and states that it strives to create safe, educational, and fun environments for players at all levels of competency and age, while encouraging the development of skills and enjoyment for the game of soccer. The organization is the consolidation of Sonoma Valley Youth Soccer Association (SVYSA) and Sonoma SC, and these clubs have been part of the community for over 40 years, with a legacy of player development, stable operations, and commitment to the community. Participants are instructed to wear appropriate gear, including shirts, shorts, shin guards, and proper shoes.
