Transcendence Kids Camp focuses on musical theatre and gives young performers the chance to take part in singing, dancing, and acting. Campers participate in musical theatre activities that combine these elements into a single experience.
• Schedule: Campers in Junior Artists and Senior Artists Session 1 will have the opportunity to perform alongside Broadway professionals in a Transcendence Mainstage production.
Transcendence Kids Camp is led by Broadway artists and is part of Transcendence Theatre Company, which features Broadway talent from New York and Hollywood. Its mission states that Kids Camp offers young performers a one-of-a-kind musical theatre experience in a positive, supportive, non-competitive environment. The program notes that campers build skills in singing, dancing, and acting while growing confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of the arts. Transcendence Theatre Company has been rated Best Outdoor Theater Performance by Newsweek. A portion of every ticket sold is donated to the Field of Dreams to help upkeep the fields and support youth sports and recreation.
