Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley has been serving the Sonoma community since 1962. The organization currently serves over 2,000 youth annually and serves more than 60% of the youth in Sonoma Valley at seven different locations. Its mission is to provide positive opportunities for youth and teens, especially those who need it most, to learn, succeed, and discover their full potential. It offers programs that focus on academic success, healthy lifestyles, and good character and leadership. The athletics program is led in part by Athletic Director Nate Moneda and Athletic Coordinator Brooke Swingle, within a larger leadership team that includes a Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, vice presidents, directors, and program directors across multiple focus areas. Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley partners with the City of Sonoma and a number of local organizations and is part of a national movement of 5,000 Boys & Girls Clubs across the country, relying on donations from the community.
