House of Discipline offers Children’s Martial Arts Classes for ages 5-11 and Teen Martial Arts Classes for ages 12-17. Children’s classes are age-specific for 5-6, 7-8, and 9-11 year olds, and teen classes are age-specific for 12-13, 14-15, and 16-17 year olds. New class trials are offered on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday only.

About the provider

House of Discipline says it has been teaching these classes since 1984 and has been a pillar in the San Diego community since 1984. The leadership team includes Master Luis De La Rosa and a team of six martial arts coaches. The school says its mission is to promote education, confidence, focus, and leadership through martial arts training.

The school says classes are beginner-friendly, family-friendly, female-friendly, and in a no ego zone. Safety is a priority. New class trials are only on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. Black belt time generally takes 3-4 years. The school says there are no contracts.
