Intensive Law & Trial in Collaboration with Stanford Law School includes a full-scale Mock Trial Simulation where students step into the role of a trial attorney or witness and bring a case to life from opening arguments to objections to the final verdict. Participants hear from Stanford Law faculty and experienced attorneys as they explore topics such as evidence, hearsay, tort law, courtroom procedure, legal ethics, and the college and law school admissions process. The program also includes activities to strengthen public speaking, legal writing, and analytical thinking, along with city exploration at attractions such as Fisherman’s Wharf and Pier 39 and evening activities like a scavenger hunt, quiz show night, and lip sync battle.

The program is a pre-college summer program in collaboration with Stanford Law School and is described as an advanced program for highly motivated high school students who want a deep dive into trial law and legal education. It offers hands-on experience in theory, litigation, trial preparation, and public speaking, and includes opportunities to meet legal professionals and attend lectures from Stanford faculty. Qualified students can earn two college credits, included with tuition, through George Mason University, and an optional study resource, Winning Objections, written by former national champions and Harvard Law School Mock Trial founders, is available.
