Education Unlimited Summer Camps offers academic and creative arts summer camps that include public speaking camps, science camps, acting camps, creative writing camps, computer camps, and video production camps. Education Unlimited Summer Camps offers programs for students entering grades 4 through 12, including A+ Summer Middle School, A+ Summer High School, A+ Summer Pre-College, and A+ Summer Leadership. Additional creative and performance-based options include the High School Actors Workshop, Middle School Actors Workshop, California Actors Workshop, Emerging Screenwriters Institute, and video production camps. Public speaking options include the Public Speaking Institute for elementary, middle, and high school students, an advanced Public Speaking Institute, and events-focused training such as Platform Speaking, Interp, Limited Prep, and a Coach Institute for adults.
The program includes STEM and science camps for girls and co-ed groups, with offerings such as Girls Anatomy/Physiology, Girls Cardiology, Girls Intro to Engineering, Girls Marine Science, Girls Neuroanatomy, Girls Robotics, and Girls Astronomy. Other academic enrichment options include English Immersion and English Language Learners programs, Prep Camp Excel with PSAT, reading and logic skills, Prep Camp Excel Summer Focus Enrichment, and Summer Focus at Berkeley with college credit UC Berkeley courses. College-focused options include College Admission Prep Camp (Original, Intensive, Abridged, and Choice), SAT prep camps, and College Tour programs that visit the campuses of over ten universities over the course of a week, meeting with students and staff.
Education Unlimited was founded in 1993 with the mission of helping high school students maximize their chance of acceptance to a college that would be the best possible fit for them. It has 30 summers of programs and more than 30,000 campers since it started in 1993, and for 31 years it has offered test prep programs for high school students. Over 1,000 students from across the country and around the globe attended an Education Unlimited summer program last summer, and enrollment has nearly doubled over the last few years.
Programs are hosted at top universities including UC Berkeley, Stanford, UCLA, Caltech, MIT, Yale, Tufts, and Georgetown in recent years, with locations to choose from in California and on the East Coast and both in-person and virtual camp sessions offered. College Tour programs include California College Tour, East Coast College Tour, Custom Family College Tours, and Custom Group College Tours. West Coast universities used for programs include Stanford University, UC Berkeley, UCLA, and Caltech in recent years, and East Coast universities used include MIT, Tufts University, Yale University, and Georgetown University.
Expert staff at Education Unlimited Summer Camps include college professors, Fulbright scholars, neurobiologists, national debate champions, film professionals, and others. The program features small class sizes with teacher-student ratios averaging better than 1 instructor for every 7 students, and hands-on projects at all camps emphasize presentation and communication skills and applied learning. More than 9 out of 10 past participant and parent surveys indicate they would recommend the program they attended, and for the last several years more than 90% of parents surveyed have reported that they would recommend the camp their child attended to others. Every summer as many as half of programs have 100% of responding parents indicating they would recommend the camp their child attended.
