El Concilio Preschool Centers are part of El Concilio Early Childhood Development Centers, which provide comprehensive early education with a research-based curriculum for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. El Concilio’s professional, experienced, and knowledgeable staff lead the program.

Founded in 1968, El Concilio was established as one of the nation’s first civil rights institutions for migrant workers. El Concilio’s mission is “empowering diverse communities in California’s Central Valley.” El Concilio is one of the largest community-based, nonprofit social service providers in California’s Central Valley and is the largest Latino-based nonprofit agency in the region. El Concilio is an affiliate of UnidosUS and operates as a non-profit 501(c)(3) agency.
El Concilio serves over 75,000 individuals each year across an eleven-site network that includes nine preschools, three community centers, two immigration centers, a senior services center, job readiness centers, family wellness, and a behavioral health center. Every year, El Concilio impacts the lives of over 25,000 families from many cultural backgrounds throughout California’s Central Valley. El Concilio is dedicated to empowering California’s diverse low-income, minority, and marginalized communities and offers services to high-risk youth, infants, families, and adults representing primarily the Hispanic population of the Central Valley.
