The Dance Connection

The Dance Connection offers ballet, lyrical, Toddlers Creative Dance, jazz/modern, hip hop, and tap. Toddlers Creative Dance includes movement activities such as "Animal Action" and "Hokey Pokey." Ballet classes include barre work, stretching, and progressions across the floor, and tap students are introduced to a graded tap program.

Programs

• Ballet — 4-6 years; 6 years to young adult · $10 · Pre-ballet for students 4-6 years old; ballet classes for 6 years to young adult include barre work, stretching and progressions across the floor.
• Lyrical — $10 · Combines ballet technique with the freedom and musicality of jazz and contemporary. It is highly recommended that a ballet class be taken along with this lyrical class.
• Toddlers Creative Dance — 3-4 years · $10 · Children participate in various movement activities, including 'Animal Action' and 'Hokey Pokey.'
• Jazz / Modern — 4 years to adult · $10 · Beginner students focus on jazz technique; more intermediate and advanced classes incorporate more contemporary movements typical of street jazz and modern.
• Hip Hop — $10 · Classes focus on the newer style of hip hop movement.
• Tap — 4 years to adult · $10 · Students are introduced to a graded tap program; choreography becomes more intricate as students advance.

All ages posted for classes are just a guideline. Ability will also be a factor for class placement. No registration or insurance fees. Senior citizens discount: 20% off. Studio closed November 26 and 27, December 19 through January 3, March 28 through April 4, and Monday May 31.
