Daruma Dojo Kids/Teens Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Judo Programs offers Junior Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Youth Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Teen Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo, BJJ 101, Honor Roll, Judo Open Mat, All Levels Gi Jiu Jitsu, All Levels NoGi Jiu Jitsu, Fundamentals Gi Jiu Jitsu, and Competition Training. The program includes classes for ages 4 to 15, with options such as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo, and beginner BJJ.

About the provider

The leadership team includes Prof. Alberto Juarez, Guilherme Giglio, Noah Myers, Sevey Lee, and Joshua Carter. Alberto started Jiu-Jitsu in 2003 and has 20 years of experience training both adults and children in martial arts. Founder and Head Instructor Prof. Alberto Juarez is a 3rd degree black belt in Jiu-Jitsu under Ricardo Barros, holds a Judo black belt from David Williams, and has a B.S. in Kinesiology from San Jose State University. The dojo emphasizes community, belonging, personal growth, and support for students with special needs, and it offers an after-school program in Milpitas with homework time, reading time, supervised activities, and age-appropriate Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction.

Classes are divided by age and skill level. The dojo welcomes all genders and people with special needs. Honor Roll is invitational-only for students grey belt & above.
