Green Acres Ranch

Green Acres Ranch offers Youth Horse Camp for children ages 6 to 12. Campers do daily horseback riding lessons, farm activities, crafts, and ranch life activities, and summer sessions also include afternoon water activities. Horseback Riding Lessons are available Monday-Saturday and include grooming, tacking, leading, and riding.

Programs

• Youth Horse Camp — 6 to 12 years old · Seasonal camps during Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter; day camp 9:00 AM-3:00 PM · $350–$475 per session · Campers enjoy ranch life, farm animals, daily horseback riding lessons, afternoon water activities in summer only, farm activities and crafts. Beginners welcome. No experience necessary.
• Horseback Riding Lessons — children and adults of all ages and skill levels · Monday-Saturday · Lessons include instruction and hands on experience on grooming, tacking, leading, and riding. Each lesson is approximately 45 minutes of riding and 45 minutes of horse care.

About the provider

Green Acres Ranch has been owned and operated by the Rich family since 1957. The leadership team includes Margaret Rich, Roy Rich, and Katherine Rich-Elzig. The ranch is home to multiple National and World Championship trainers.

• Facility Rental

Camp counselors are CPR & First Aid Certified. Campers can upload a waiver or fill one out in person during registration. Minimum age for campers is 6 years old. Advanced Camp is invitation only for Green Acres Lesson Program students currently enrolled in a 10-week session at the Gold level or higher.
