About
Shakespeare Camp is a two-week session that focuses on voice, movement, acting, production, and choreography. Campers study and rehearse a full play, with this year’s play study being A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The session ends with a performance for family and friends on the last day of camp onstage at Baily Winery in Temecula.
• Ages: 8–18 years old
• Schedule: July 20–31, 2026, Monday through Friday, 9am–3pm
• Price: Early Tuition Special: $225. Tuition after June 1st: $250.
The outstanding instructors are trained theater professionals with extensive experience in arts education. Shakespeare Camp welcomes campers between the ages of 8–18 to sign up, and scholarships for Shakespeare Camp are funded by donations. The program is led by Preston Helms, President/Artistic Director. This year, the organization celebrated its 20th anniversary. Its mission is to build appreciation of classical works through theatre arts educational outreach and professional productions throughout Southern California. As a nonprofit company in the Temecula Valley Wine Country, Southern California’s premiere tourist destination, it states that it endeavors to be a reliable partner to other local businesses and arts organizations.
