In 1996, she immigrated to the United States and built US Fine Art Education Center in the greater Los Angeles area.
From 1996 onward, the center developed its systems step by step: in 1996 it established the first professional youth fine art school in Los Angeles; in 1998 it built a scientific school system; in 1999 it developed an innovative art education system and portfolio teaching plan; in 2000 it established a partnership with UCLA to research and develop youth fine art education; in 2001 it applied a Teachers Qualification System; and in 2002 the CTA (Comprehensive Training in Art) teaching plan was established. The Teachers Qualification System includes hiring, training, tests, retraining, and promotion tests, and teachers are required to have research ability to learn advanced studies in art education and develop innovative curriculum.
US Fine Art Education Center established a partnership with UCLA to research and develop youth fine art education, and it was selected by a UCLA special research team for its outstanding achievement; this team then studied and developed youth art education together with the center.
