Gracie Barra Jiu-Jitsu Thousand Oaks offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, grappling, and self-defense as part of its martial arts and BJJ classes. Gracie Barra Jiu-Jitsu Thousand Oaks is located at Sports Academy’s state-of-the-art training facility. The program is supervised by a Gracie Barra certified instructor, in line with all GB Schools. Gracie Barra Jiu-Jitsu Thousand Oaks offers a free trial class. Gracie Barra Jiu-Jitsu Thousand Oaks is part of the Gracie Barra team, which has over 800 schools worldwide and regional divisions representing North America, Central America, South America, Oceania, and Europe.
Gracie Barra Jiu Jitsu Thousand Oaks states that it is a martial arts school dedicated to each student’s personal development and promotes a holistic perspective to Jiu-Jitsu, including physical and mental wellness. Master Carlos Gracie Jr. has stated his goal to bring Jiu-Jitsu to everyone by establishing a school in every city in the world. The original Gracie Barra school is run by Prof. Jefferson Moura, and in 1986 Master Carlos Gracie Jr. founded the first Gracie Barra school. In 2005, Carlos Gracie Jr., with the assistance of Prof. Marcio Feitosa, opened a Gracie Barra school outside Brazil, first in Lake Forest, California and now in the city of Irvine, California.
