Ark Row Kids offers activities that include music, art movement, gardening, arts and crafts, dance, and story telling. Children also have outdoor play time on an especially equipped deck that includes a seesaw, sand table, building Legos, water play, and a slide. Classes are small, and kids are encouraged to communicate and learn social skills.

• Schedule: Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
• Price: Rachel offers her space to rent for birthday parties, with all equipment and supplies available to use, for $175/2 hours.
Rachel Berman is the owner of Ark Row Kids. She received her Early Childhood Education Certificate. The classes are prepared with an emphasis on developmentally appropriate activities, with special attention given to each child so he or she can flourish in his or her own way. Ark Row Kids, unlike most other children’s centers, accepts children as young as 18 months, and they do not have to be potty trained, but they do need to be able to walk.
Rachel began to teach Mommy & Me preschool classes at the Jewish Community Center in Tiburon, and a couple of her co-teachers there told her they had heard Ark Row Kids was for sale. She purchased Ark Row Kids in July 2020, and Ark Row Kids reopened a month later. Rachel describes having a lot of support from women in the community and found it heartwarming and encouraging.
