About
Crescendo Music & Dance offers music lessons, dance classes, musical instrument training, and guitar classes. The program also offers music therapy services provided on site by partner Mewsic Moves. Lessons take place in nine individual soundproof practice and teaching rooms, a keyboard lab, and a dance studio at The Crescendo School of Music and Dance, a ministry of The Salvation Army Torrance Corps.
• Ages: 0–18 years old
• Schedule: Music lessons available Monday–Wednesday, 2:00–8:00pm; lessons start at 30 minutes per session
• Price: Lessons start as low as $30 per 30 minute session.
The stated mission of The Crescendo School of Music and Dance is to nurture the next generation of artists and to empower students to shine through the performing arts, cultivating confidence, connection, and joy in every note and every step, in a safe, inclusive, and uplifting environment, honoring each student’s God-given gifts and supporting growth in talent, character, and heart. Crescendo Music and Dance is an official vendor for Blue Ridge Charter School. Music therapy services are provided on site by partner Mewsic Moves. One parent shared that their daughter enjoys learning from her teachers so much that she hates missing class for any reason, and another parent noted that their son has been taking guitar classes at the school for two years and looks forward to going to class because his teacher is friendly and fun-loving.
