According to the program’s mission, Torrance Volleyball Club is about creating an atmosphere and culture where players can enjoy improving their volleyball skills, compete regularly, and receive tools to accomplish their goals. The club identifies coaching quality as its top priority, stating that its staff coaches with character, are dedicated to teaching the game, understand the balance of volleyball, family, and school, and are invested in players’ growth. The club also identifies its culture as a high priority and states that winning is not its top priority, with a focus instead on getting better every day. It states that the way skills are taught and the system is set up is intended to be efficient so that players can reach and sustain a high level of success in critical volleyball skill sets over a longer period of time. The program also notes that “TIDES ARE BACK!!!” and references its 2025/2026 coaches.
